Narayan Neupane is an Information Technology (IT) Professional originally from Lumbini provenience of Nepal. Currently reside in the United States and work as a Senior solution specialist at Deloitte Consulting. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Information Security at the University of the Cumberlands, Kentucky, USA.
Narayan is an IT Enthusiast and motivator among Nepali Tech. Youth. He is the founder and president of the Information technology Society, Nepal (IT-S, Nepal) and one of the founders of Nepal’s IT Security Emergency Response Team (INSERT). He is currently coordinating a logical group of Nepali IT professionals from a Global platform and leading and proposing an initiative to make Nepal an alternative outsourcing destination for IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Some initiatives, such as Knowledge transfer sessions among IT professionals and the Connect Nepal project initiated by the Nepalese Association of Florida (NAF), are ongoing to empower Nepal with the help of Information Technology.
He is already served as a board member of the IT Development Committee from 2012 to 2016 in the Government of Nepal and Vice president of the Federation of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN Federation) from 2013 to 2015, an umbrella federation of the Nepali IT industry and professionals.
